Description
On July 16, 1969, at 9:32 a.m., the gigantic Saturn V was launched from Cape Canaveral, the most important journey in the history of mankind. The Apollo spacecraft with which the astronauts were transported to the moon consists of 2 components, the command capsule and the service module. The command capsule contained the Accommodation/cockpit area for the 3 astronauts. The oxygen and power supply were provided from the service module, which also contained the main propulsion unit.
