Description
This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit. After World War I, the Republic of China Navy recognized the importance of aircraft, and established an aircraft development center in Fujian Province. The Chia type was the first aircraft to be designed, with reference to the Boeing Model C and Curtis JN. It had a Curtis V8 engine with 100 horsepower, and was designed to be used for practice, reconnaissance and bombing with a double seat. It was completed in 1919 and received high praise, but unfortunately only three of this aircraft were ever completed due to lack of funds. However, it became the basis for subsequent aircraft development and operation. This kit from Bronco Models includes decals for markings seen during the Korean War.
