Along with the Navy's Zero Fighter, Hayabusa is a fighter that represents Japan in the Greater East Asia War. Armed with its nimble maneuverability and high practicality, it fought as the main fighter of the Japanese Army throughout the Greater East Asia War. Type 2 was the main type in the middle of the war, and even in Manchuria (currently northeastern China), which was founded at that time, it was used as the core of the Armed Forces Air Corps along with the Nakajima Ki-27 fighter until the end of the war.
