ICM 1/72 MiG-31B Interceptor
I am currently building the Hasegawa re-box of this kit. It is a dog! The details, especially in the cockpit are soft. I replaced the ejection seats with aftermarket ones. You will also notice that there is no rear cockpit bulkhead. I scratched one for my kit. The rear fuselage is made up of four pieces, a top, bottom, and two sides. I glued the top and bottom pieces to the front and rear bulkheads. The side pieces were a pain to get in and I ended up with a lot of gaps. You may want to go with just doing the bottom fuselage and then attach the sides before putting on the top of the rear fuselage. The rear of the right fin does not align properly, even using the locating pins on the fin. The back end will stick out about a quarter inch from the rear fuselage. I suggest cutting off all of the fin locating pins to get the fins into the proper position. I have not installed the landing gear yet, but from what I have read on other reviews, it will be an adventure. Try looking for the Zvedza kit instead. It can't be any worse than this piece of junk.
