The Sphpanzer Luchs is a German 8x8 amphibious armored reconnaissance vehicle in service since 1975 in the German Army, which used 408 in its armored reconnaissance battalions. The kit features embossed and engraved exterior details, 1-piece lower and upper chassis, optional hatches, separate turret, swivel turret, detailed machine gun mount, one-piece gun, separately molded vehicle equipment and tooling, filigree grab bars, smoke grenade launcher, and a detailed transmission with injection molded wheels. Decals and markings for two (2) vehicles: 3. /Gebirgspanzeraufklrungsbataillon, Freyung, 1993 and 4. /Panzeraufklrungsbataillon 5, Sontra, 1992.
