Description

Brooklyn class light cruiser, launched May 1937. Served mainly in the Atlantic and Mediterranean, and was severly damaged by a German aircraft-launched glider bomb in Salero Bay, Italy, 8 Sept. 1943. She was temporarily patched up at Malta, and returned to the Philadelphia where extensive repairs were performed. This the late war (1944) fit. Excellent resin kit with photoetch.
