This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit. The SBD Dauntless is a reconnaissance bomber developed by Douglas of the United States and operated by the U.S. military during World War II. "Dauntless" means "fearless, brave, patient, indomitable." It was also manufactured for the U.S. Army, and officially adopted as the A-24 Banshee.
