Shipping Prices

Free Shipping Details

We offer Free Shipping for orders of $200.00 or more. Free Shipping on orders of $100.00 or more for Eagle Club Members.

Free Shipping Terms and Conditions

  • Free Shipping is ONLY valid for physical addresses. To ship to PO Box, you must choose a USPS shipping option. If you choose Free Shipping to a PO Box, you might be contacted for a physical address before shipping. This will delay your shipping.
  • Free Shipping is ONLY eligible for the 48 Contiguous states.
  • Free Shipping is ONLY for Online Orders. Free Shipping NOT available for Phone Orders.
  • When choosing Free Shipping as a part of a PreOrder, please refer to our Private Warehouse terms and conditions.
  • Shipping Method Used for Free Shipping – We will use one of the shipping methods listed below for shipping your order. This will be picked by our shipping department at the time of shipping. IF YOU NEED A SPECIFIC SHIPPING METHOD (such as having a preference of UPS instead of USPS, or having a requirement of shipping to a PO Box) You MUST Choose a Shipping Rate corresponding to your requirement as opposed to our free shipping option.

Shipping Rates

  • Shipping rates for orders under that fall under the dollar amount for free shipping, or for international and orders outside of the 48 contiguous US, the shipping prices and options will be calculated in the shopping cart once you enter your shipping address. Our shipping rates are based on the weight and dimensions of the item(s) that you are ordering.

International Shipping

Shipping Methods for International Shipping:

  • USPS Priority Mail International
  • USPS First Class International (only for packages under 4 pounds)
    • First Class International is extremely slow. Packages are generally loaded into containers so the tracking numbers are not updated very often at all. This option can take several weeks to arrive at the destination.

Shipping rates are calculated in the checkout section once you input your shipping address.

If you order from us from another country, we are happy to ship to you however, please know that you are buying from us AT YOUR OWN RISK. Once the package leaves our warehouse, we will not be held responsible for lost, delayed, damaged, or otherwise messed up shipments by international customs and freight companies. Tracking numbers for international orders should be considered a general idea of where the package might be and not to be trusted on exactly when the package will arrive. We are very sorry to have to be strict on this policy, but we simply have no control of the package once it leaves our warehouse and goes into the international shipping carrier's possession. 

Things we can not do for international shipping

  • We Will Not Reship a returned package free of charge. Please make sure your address information is correct and be prepared to contact your local customs office about duties, taxes and anything else needed to release your package before it is returned to sender.
  • Refund the shipping amount for a returned order. If your package is returned to sender for failure to pay duties/taxes, address problems, or any other customs related reason, we can ship it to you again but you must pay a second shipping fee. Or, you can cancel the order and we will refund you the total amount for all items, but NOT for the shipping fees.
  • We will not adjust the customs documents to show a lower value. The value on the customs documents will match your order. Please DO NOT ASK because we will not do this. Customer is responsible for customs taxes and duties.

Order Processing

Turnaround Times

Our general turnaround time for processing and shipping an order is the same or next business day. From time to time we are running slower than normal due to high volume. During checkout right before you finalize your order you will find a disclaimer note that lists our current turnaround time whether it is normal or otherwise. This way you can know what to expect before finalizing your order.

Adding To, Changing, Combining or Cancelling Orders

If you need to make any changes to your order please email or call us as soon as possible. HOWEVER please note that our warehouse starts processing orders very early every morning several hours before our phone support and email support staff start working. If you place an order during the evening, there is a very good chance the order will already be in process before we are able to speak with you about changing it. We will do the best we can to accommodate your request.

Hazardous Items

Items that are considered hazardous for shipping such as spray paints and certain glues are not able to be shipped via air (such as USPS Priority Mail). If you place an order for any hazardous item and choose a shipping method that is not valid, we will default your shipping method to the closest valid shipping method and process your order. Please note these items can’t be shipped overseas at all, if hazardous items are part of an international order they will be removed from the order and refunded to you before the rest of the order ships.

Phone Call Orders

We are happy to take your order over the phone. We have a physical catalog available or you can use our website for information. When you call in your order please have the following information ready when you call:

  • Your billing and shipping address (name, street address, box number, city, state, zip)
  • The SKU numbers of the items you would like to order.

Store Hours

  • Our retail store is located in the front of our warehouse and is open to the public.
  • Store Hours are Monday through Friday 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We are not open on weekends.
  • Our retail store has a small selection of the range of products we offer. You will find paints, tools, books and the newest model kits on display for sale.
  • Our warehouse is not open to the public. For full shopping access to our warehouse and entire product line in person, please see our Eagle Club Membership.

Inventory & Ordering

Sales Tax

Georgia sales tax is 7% which will be added to any orders shipped to Georgia. This is also the tax rate which will be charged when shopping in our retail store. Other states that require us to collect sales tax will be calculated at checkout.

Sales Receipts

A printed receipt will not be included in your shipped order. If you need a copy of your invoice you can view the invoice by clicking on “Your Account” at the top of each page and you can view and print orders from there. Receipts are available when shopping in store.

Our Product Inventory

  • The inventory you see on our website is a live inventory that is physically in stock here at our Ringgold warehouse.
  • Adding an item to the shopping cart does NOT reserve the item from you. The item is only “yours” once you finalize the checkout process.
  • You can click on any item to see the inventory status.
    • Add to Cart– These items are in stock and will generally show you our current stock. If you need more than 24 of any one item, please contact us.
    • Out of Stock– These items have sold out. We intend on restocking as soon as possible. You can click into the item and “Enter your email address to be notified when this is ready to order!” and click Notify Meand we will send you an email as soon as they are back in stock and ready to order. This is not a commitment to purchase.
    • Pre-Order Now– These are future releases. See Pre-Order Policy below.
    • Coming Soon– These are future releases. See Pre-Order Policy below.

Inventory Levels Accuracy

Please note that we work at getting our inventory as accurate as possible everyday, but unfortunately we can’t say that it will ever be 100% accurate. We are very close to that number and like to stay above 99% accuracy. Having said that, if there is ever an issue with an item on your order we will take the best course of action in your favor and email you and let you know what is going on with your order. In most cases, we simply refund for the missing item and a portion of the shipping fee and send the rest of the order and then email you about the situation. If the missing item would bring your order total down below free shipping, we simply cover the costs of shipping for you. These types of errors, as rare as they are, are our fault and we will never charge you more shipping because of it.

Production Condition – Quality Control

  • All of our products are brand new from the factory, never pre-owned from customers.
  • We shrink wrap all of our products before shipping to you, with the exception of larger kits too big for our shrink wrap machines.
  • Considering the nature of the products we sell and where they are manufactured and how they are brought into the country, very minor scratches or blemishes may be present. However, please consider the following:
    • Squadron is run by modelers. If any product is blemished in any way that it would make us not want to have it as a “new” item then we will not send it to you. We like to refer to this as the 1% rule: If the kit is not 99% or better perfect, we do not consider it new.
    • Any products that are not considered by us to be new go into our scratch and dent section. These items are only available for purchase in person in our store or at a model show.
    • If the situation arises where you have purchased the last piece of inventory of a certain item and our QC department considers the item to fall under our 1% rule, we will contact you to describe the condition of the model and you can decide if you would like to have the item or cancel the order.
    • Please note that our 1% rule can vary between manufacturers. It is unfortunate but a simple reality that all model kit company’s packaging is not equal. Some manufacturer boxes are simply not as sturdy as others. Having said that, you can rest assured that we will make the best decision about the quality of our products in your favor.

Price Changes

  • All prices on Squadron are subject to change at any time without notice.
  • If prices change in the future after your order ships we can not go back and edit past orders.
  • Pre-Order Price Changes May Occur During the Preorder Period.
    • If the preorder price goes up after you place your preorder, BUT BEFORE your order ships you will receive your order at the price you preordered. This is very common. We call it the early bird preorder price.
    • If the preorder price goes down after you place your preorder BUT BEFORE your order ships then your price will be adjusted before shipping. This does happen from time to time if we are able to negotiate a better price during the preorder period, then we try to pass that through.

 

Pre-Order Information & Policy

Current Preorder Items

  • We offer Preorder reservations on certain upcoming releases or in some cases rereleases or backordered items that have previously sold out and are being restocked soon.
  • Dates of arrival are posted on each preorder item’s page and are just an estimate. Shipping delays are very common. Due to this we can’t guarantee the arrival of future releases but try our best to be as close as possible.
  • Preorders ARE commitments to purchase and should be treated as any other order would be. Simply add the item to your shopping cart and proceed to checkout. You will receive confirmation and an order number just like any other regular order.
    • If you need to cancel a preorder, please let us know as soon as possible before the item arrives.
    • PAYMENT IS NOT REQUIRED up front when you place a Preorder.
      • During checkout you have the option to go ahead and pay for your preorder using your choice of payment options.
      • When checking out with preorder items, you will see an additional payment option called “We Will Contact You for Payment When Ready To Ship”
      • We will send an invoice to you for payment when the Preorder item(s) is close to ready to ship. This usually occurs between about a week before the item is actually ready to ship. This allows us time to send you the invoice, process the payment and get your order in line to ship the day the item actually arrives in our warehouse.
        • The invoice will be emailed to you from PayPal on behalf of Squadron.
  • Please Note that Preorders that are paid up front go to the front of the line and will ship immediately upon arrival of the item (unless it is part of a mixed order, see below for mixed orders)
  • If you receive an invoice from us but prefer to pay with your credit card on file, over the phone or another payment method. Please email or call us and we will accommodate you the best we can. Preorders are NOT required to be paid through PayPal, this is simply the best way for us to send invoices out to all customers at once.

Future Preorders “Notify Me” Email List

  • Some future items that have been announced that we do not have pricing or release dates on can found in our Future Preorders section.
  • Click the item you are interested in and you will find a box to put your email address in right below the text saying “Enter your email address to be notified when this is ready to order!”
  • This is NOTa commitment to purchase. This is simply a way for us to know you are potentially interested in the item. Once we start taking official preorders of the item, you will receive an email letting you that the price has been posted and you can at that time decide whether to place an order or not.
  • Please consider using this feature as it helps us gauge interest in items and future items of the same sort as well.

Squadron Personal Warehouse

Getting your order over our Free Shipping threshold can be achieved by using our Personal Warehouse service.

Mixed Orders with In-Stock and Preorder Items

  • If you place an order mixed with in stock items and future releases (preorders) the entire order WILL BE held until all items are ready to ship.
    • If you choose the “We Will Contact You for Payment When Ready To Ship” as the payment options for mixed orders, you may be billed for in stock items immediately.
      • This depends on the items ordered and amount and is at Squadron’s discretion whether this happens. In general, we will hold any item for you, but please be prepared to pay for any items that are in stock.
  • If at some point you decide you would like the in stock portion of your order to ship, please email us and we will accommodate your request the best we can.
    • Splitting an order to ship in stock items will incur an additional shipping charge unless the split order is valued above the free shipping minimum.

If you would like to add items to a current preorder or mixed order, please email us and we will accommodate your request the best we can.

 

Returns

Returns are accepted within 21 days of receiving your order, based on when the tracking number shows you received it.

  • Returns must be received exactly the same way you received it.
    • Not Opened
    • Still Shrink Wrapped
    • Return the items to our address which is listed above in mail order payment options.
    • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.
    • Full refund less the shipping amount will apply on orders where shipping was paid. On orders where shipping was not paid, a 10% restocking fee will apply.

Squadron’s Fault - Missing Items / Incorrect Product Received / Damaged

  • If you want to return an item because of an error on our part or because of shipping damage please contact us via email or phone.
  • We will resolve the problem but each case may be different and we prefer to email or speak with you about it.

 

Squadron Rewards

  • Squadron Rewards Points are available to all customers. For more information on how to obtain or use rewards please click the “Rewards” button at the bottom right of the screen.
    • You must be logged into your account to access rewards.
    • You MUST be logged in when you place your orders to earn rewards.
  • The rewards points program started in October 2024. Orders from October 2024 forward are eligible. Orders before then were not part of the program and therefor you will not see points in your account for them.
  • Orders through our other sales channels such as eBay or Amazon do not apply. Only Squadron.com orders will get you rewards points.
  • Rewards points will appear in your account once orders have been marked as "shipped"

Eagle Club Membership

  • The Eagle Club separate from the Squadron Rewards (and can be used together with rewards) and is an exclusive membership available for purchase. Please visit the Eagle Club page for more information on the perks of the membership.

What information do we collect?

How can you opt-out, remove or modify information you have provided to us?

To modify your e-mail subscriptions, please let us know by modifying your preferences in the "My Account" section. Please note that due to email production schedules you may receive any emails already in production.

To delete all of your online account information from our database, sign into the "My Account" section of our site and remove your shipping addresses, billing addresses & payment information. Please note that we may maintain information about an individual sales transaction in order to service that transaction and for record keeping.
