2026 IPMS Nationals Group Build

The 2026 Squadron Modeler's Club Group Build will be P-47 Thunderbolt. Any version, any scale - all jugs welcome! The group build starts now and we will be displaying the group build all together at the IPMS National Convention in Fort Wayne Indiana as part of the "Tiger Meet" Display Only portion of the convention.  There is no cost to enter the Tiger Meet and you do not have to be an IPMS member to enter either. Therefor, there is no cost to joining our group build. The only requirement is that we ask you to contact us at info@squadron.com with your request to join us - this is just to let us have a record of how many jugs we should expect so that we can let the IPMS group in Fort Wayne know how much space our group build will need in the Tiger Meet.

We also have a separate dedicated private page specifically for the P-47 Group build which we will send you a private invitation to once you are officially part of the group build (by emailing us)

You do NOT have to be part of the FaceBook group to join in on the fun - which is why we are asking for an email to "join". When you email us, let us know what kit and which plane you are planning to build so we can keep a record (if you don't know yet, thats fine just let us know when you decide) we will keep a spreadsheet of who is building what and will have name plates of some sort printed up with modeler's name and which version/nickname of the plane displayed next to your plane. Also we want to make sure to have enough of the posters of the group build printed up to give everybody one that joins us at the nationals!

If you would like to join the group build, but can't be at the show - please email us to discuss. It is possible for you to send your jug to us for us to display for you at the Tiger Meet - BUT - after the show it will be displayed permanently in the Squadron Shop Model Museum as we do not want to be responsible for packing and shipping it back.
