Description
This model recreates the final appearance of the Yamato, the last battleship of the Imperial Japanese Navy, as it departed for Okinawa on April 6, 1945.
Seeking the true appearance of the Yamato, which is shrouded in mystery, this product was designed by meticulously examining all available official drawings and documents during its planning and development. Based on the position of the hull frame, all structures, down to the portholes, are positioned as accurately as possible, and even subtle nuances such as the angles and twists of the walls have been thoroughly pursued.
