Description

      The Grumman A-6E Intruder is an all-weather carrier-based attack aircraft of the United States Navy/Marine Corps, designed for subsonic low-altitude attack. The A-6E is an improved version of the A-6A with enhanced electronics capabilities, including a more powerful radar. In particular, the A-6E TRAM is equipped with a target detection and attack combined sensor on the underside of the nose, improving attack accuracy. There is also the EA-6B Prowler, a dedicated electronic warfare aircraft with a 1.02m extended fuselage and a crew of four.
